Yahoo Messager

Yahoo Messager is an IM application published by Yahoo. This application is the most popular even though it must compete with Gtalk, the application by Google. However, finally, Yahoo publishe their beta version, that is Yahoo Message 9.

Yahoo Messenger 9 (YM) provides some improvement and features that will satisfy the users. These include new appearance supported by more skins and the capability of displaying pictures and videos directly through chat windows.



Display
YM now appears better. We can change YM's appearance easily by clicking the round icon beside of the minimizing icon and choose one of the themes available. If you don't like this appearance you can return to the previous version of YM or you can change the size of YM window.

Searching of Contact
Searching in Yahoo Messenger is faster. Every single alphabet that we type , the Search box will enable YM to search our contact lists.

Status dan Avatar
The online status will appears more interesting because it has supported emoticon codes (as chatting), you can also insert a link on the online status( for example, to promote your sites). For users of email service of Yahoo (YahooPlus) or if you are one of those who are lucky to get the status power, Yahoo will add the icon of crown beside your name(as chatting) and give some accesesories for your avatar.

Jendela Chat
the best feature added to the chat window is ability to insert multimedia files such as maps, pictures, videos and online photos when you type a link ending.jpg, .gif, .png, atau .bmp. The capability to give comment on photos and videos without leaving the YM window is the vital and unique feature in YM. For users who like using emoticons, Yahoo provide six new emoticons.

Spam Control
For YM users that often complain about spams, now they can confirm them directly through YM. Yahoo add a new key on the offline message window that can help to report spam spammers without leaving YM.

Pingbox
Pingbox is the latest feature of YM in which a site owner can insert a chat box on his site in order that the site visiters can communicate with him faster and easily. If you have a blog, site by inserting Pingpong in your blog enables the the visiters to see your status to that the visiters can contact you even though they do not have YM Account.

Before Pingbox displayed on the sites, we can modify several features such as adapting chatting box display to the site dispalys, displaying the greeting message, resizing etc. After finishing you can copy the embbeded Pingbox code or decide online service that will be inserted by Pingpong.
